We are just busy over here in Hong Kong loving on sweet little Esme. And she really can be called the forever Ingram household baby-Jarrett got the ol’ snip snip last month, so she is the last. As much as my heart could handle a couple more babies, my body is finished. Carrying and birthing and nursing 5 babies really took it for a loop! I’m excited for the future and watching these little people grow up.
Esme is really just the sweetest. Jarrett and I keep talking-“Did all our babies smile this month?”, “Were they all so sugary sweet and happy?”. I’m pretty sure they all were, but man oh man, Esme, is just stealing all our hearts. She is just a ball of joy and adorableness and the few times she has cried, it about killed us, her cry is even sweet.
Esme has a Strawberry birthmark on her little lip. It has steadily grown since it showed up when she was around 1 month old. It does not cause her pain and is not in and of itself a problem. But the location on her lip is an issue. We have seen 5 different specialists to get a treatment plan for her. It will keep growing until she is 2 years and could cause problems with eating and talking as it grow, and will also make her have extra skin on her lips that would have to be dealt with later. So the treatment is to shrink and hopefully get rid of the birthmark in the next couple months. Everything has been going great so far, I will keep you updated!
We just got back from a 16 day trip to Malaysia. It was amazing and Esme’s first passport stamp! But I’m going to try to leave those pictures out of this post, so I can give Malaysia its own post. I have started making the blog into a photo book for the kids, so I’m trying to keep the headings and stories somewhat organized.
We decided to go check out the Hong Kong botanical gardens the other day. It was our first big outing with a stroller. I have been baby wearing Vesper all over Hong Kong, but now with 2 babies I need stroller for one of them while I wear the other. While sometimes a stroller helps a lot, this day was a PAIN! We had to carry it over many stairs, and some of the walk ways were too narrow and we had to close it up and walk it down the sidewalk-ha:)
Thankfully, the gardens were amazing and totally worth the trouble of getting there. They also had animals, which all the kids loved.
Daddy and his teeny baby girl
happy Conner:)
carrying Queen Vesper in her chariot stroller-ha!

oh these girl clothes and the ruffle butts and ruffle socks-give me all the ruffles!
and to top it off, there was a playground at the end-fun!
one of my favorites-watching them all love and play together
Esme slept and breastfed through all the excitement
In September we got to go to our first Chinese Moon Festival! It was really special and a lot of fun. Mooncakes are usually made with red-bean paste and green tea flavors-not really our taste buds’ favorite. So we went for the coffee-flavored Starbucks mooncakes:)
Vesper with our lantern
the scooter brothers of Lamma Island
Vesper traded her lantern for a princess one:)
an offering in town for good luck for the coming lunar year

We got the boys some fishing poles and had a really fun day
It is waaay too much fun for me to have matching outfits for the girls:)
at a fun city pool in the city
Vesper had a hard time for about 2 weeks having a new little sister. Then one day I came in and she was putting her play jewelry on Esme and I think it clicked then that we had made her a friend. This day, she asked me to put Esme in the stroller and she wanted to go in the sling-it was so sweet:) I had missed her sling snuggles.
Conner and Peyton are always snuggling these lucky little girls
We started Ingram homeschool back in September-we have been having a lot of fun.
The kids and I went on a outing in the city and came across this nursing home-it was a tad disturbing! I would not want to go there.
Vesper at a fun play place
We came across this beautiful Chinese altar on our way to the play place.
a night watching movies while Jarrett was in Indonesia
just a normal day with Vesper-she is the messiest baby!!

trying a bottle of pumped breast-milk. She took it fine, but really there is no point-we don’t have any baby sitters to go on a date-haha!
sink bath in the crazy messy kitchen!! One day I will have the cleanest kitchen, but no cute baby in the sink:(

these two love each other so much
Trying her 2nd bottle, we may get to go on a date in the US when we get to our family baby sitters:) But I’m not holding my breath, our only baby to successfully take a bottle was Peyton for us to go on a date. So we always have little cute babies on dates with us:)
I hope you are all doing wonderful and had a lovely Thanksgiving! xoxo, Chelsea
